Description The walk makes a large circle passing through six very different Madison city parks from small neighborhood parks, to much larger recreational parks to a major conservation park. The parks are Garner Park, Owen Conservation Park, Kettle Pond Park, Spring Harbor Park, Indian Hills Park and Rennebohm Park.

This walk actually starts at a location some distance from the walk box. To reach the walk box, from I-39/90, take exit 142 west on US 12/18. Follow US 12/18 west to Mineral Point Rd, exit 254. Turn right (east) on Mineral Point for approx. 0.8 miles to Firestone Auto Care on right, at West Towne Mall.

After registering at Firestone, return to Mineral Point Rd and turn right. Follow Mineral Point for 1.3 miles, crossing Gammon, Grand Canyon, and Yellowstone. Turn left on Rosa and then take the next right into Garner Park. Walk to the park shelter and begin your walk.
