Walk starts along park paths through a historic marina, to bike path along Lake Michigan, through Union Cemetery, past Old St. Mary's Cemetery, and through historic parts of the city. Port Washington is aptly nicknamed "City of HIlls".

From I-43, north or south, take exit 93 at Hwy 32 towards Port Washington. Proceed east on Hwy 32 for 27.7 miles to East Grand Avenue in Port Washington. Proceed on Grand Avenue to the Harborview on your right. Do not park in the lot behind the hotel but rather in public lots to left & on the street.
