| Description | This scenic walk starts in the heart of vibrant downtown Appleton. It follows city sidewalks through historic neighborhoods and past city parks. Paved waterside trails along the beautiful Fox River highlight historic industrial use of water power as well as locks and canals built in the mid 19th century that are still in use today. Route directions include a QR code to open a digital guidebook to 16 historical sites along the walk. |
