Description:	The first walk in the US was on 6/12-13/76 held in (no surprise!) Texas. The “Teas Walk Fest” included about 230 walkers with 6 and 12 mile- (that’s right – mile!) options through the Fredericksburg, Texas, area. Although there seems to be no documentation, we believe the first club in Wisconsin was established in Cedarburg in 1991. We also have documentation of a walk on the Military Ridge State Park Trail in 1994 sponsored by the Wisconsin DNR and there may have been other earlier walks sponsored by the DNR. We will honor both US and Wisconsin volksmarching with a choice of walks including Milwaukee, Port Washington, Cedarburg, Port Washington, and West Bend on June 13 and 14, 2026, including a group dinner in Cedarburg on Saturday night. Only the West Bend will be supported as a group walk, with individuals either walking alone or arranging their own groups on the other seasonal walks. The West Bend walk will be a guided walk on Sunday starting at the Regner Park tennis courts (800 N. Main Street, West Bend, Wisconsin) with registration at 9 am and beginning the walk at 9:30 am. The walk will use the Traveling Guided Walk stamp. We plan to have a group dinner at Tomaso’s Italian Restaurant at W63N688 Washington Avenue in Cedarburg meeting at 6:30 pm on Saturday night. Tomaso’s does not take reservations so we may have to wait a bit to be seated. Please contact Don at (608) 821-2063 if you plan to attend so we will know how many for whom to request seating. Awards & Fees:	Stamps will be for the respective year-round and seasonal events with the West Bend having sanction number131914. All Walkers: $4.00 or coupons may be used.
Pets:	Pets are not permitted on this walk.
