|Description||UW_Madison is the flagship campus of the UW system. It was founded in 1848 when Wisconsin achieved statehood. Main campus in Madison is about 933 acres with student population of about 45,000. This walk highlights portions of the main campus, including Alumni Park, Memorial Union Terrace, 2K along the shore of Lake Mendota, 2 beautiful gardens, Camp Randall Stadium, and Chazen Museum of Art. Walk finishes at Monona Terrace, which is about .6k from the convention hotel.|

From Hwy 12/14/18/151 take EXIT 263 North on John Nolen, crossing part of Lake Monona. Turn LEFT on Broom St for 1/2 mile, then RIGHT on W Johnson St for about 1/3 mile. Turn RIGHT on Wisconsin Ave for 1 block. Start Point will be on your right at the corner of Dayton St. Street parking is limited, but there are 3 city parking facilities within 4 blocks of the hotel with several others equidistant between hotel and Monona Terrace.
