Location: Intersection of Hwy 19/113 and Division, Waunakee, WI (N 43.19110 W 089.44725)
Hours: Start from 8:00 am to noon. Finish by 3 pm.
Distance: 10K and 6K
Rating: 1B The walk is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.
Special Programs: Little Free Libraries, Walk the USA - S, and Wisconsin Counties - Dane
Directions: The Village Park is located at the intersections of Hwy 19/113 and Division St on the east side of Waunakee. When coming from the north or east, take Hwy 19 west from I-39/90/94 and turn left on Division. When coming from the west or south take Hwy 19 east from Hwy 12 and turn right on Division.
Parking: Ample parking is available on the street.
Description: The 10k walk will include local trails in a new development, a covered bridge, and Castle Creek Conservancy. The 6k walk will pass historic St John the Baptist Catholic Church and go through several local parks including the Waunakee Area Veterans Memorial.
Awards & Fees: There will be no pre-registration or award for this walk. All Walkers: $3.00
Pets: Pets are permitted on this walk.
Amenities: Restrooms and water are available at the start point and along the walk.
