Hours: Start 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. Finish by 3:00 pm.
Distance: 10K and 5K
Rating: 1A The walk will support strollers but not wheelchairs.

Directions: Follow Hwy 12 northwest from Madison to Sauk City, crossing the Wisconsin River. Take the first right at the lights onto Water St (Hwy 78). Travel one half mile to the park on your right.
Parking: Ample parking is available at the park.
Description: The route travels through historic homes of Sauk City and Prairie du Sac. You'll meet up with the Wisconsin River Great Sauk State Trail at the Veterans Memorial Park. This is an abandoned railroad bed running along the Wisconsin River. This part of the Wisconsin River is known for bald eagle nesting, especially from the dam to Eagle Island.
Awards & Fees: There will be no pre-registration or award for this walk. All Walkers: $3.00
Pets: Leashed pets will be permitted on the walk.
Amenities: Restrooms and water are available at the start point and along the walk.
