Distance: 10K and 5K
Rating: 1A The walk will be suitable for both wheelchairs and strollers.

Directions: From I-94 take Hwy 67 (exit 282) towards Oconomowoc. You will be driving north on Summit Avenue. Follow Summit Avenue to Main Street. Turn right (east) on Main Street and continue one block to Collins Street. Turn right on Collins and just across the train tracks you will see Maxim's.
Parking: Free parking is available in the city public lot across the street from the restaurant.
Description: Our starting point is the unique old Oconomowoc train depot built in 1896. As well as now being a restaurant it is the home of a scale model railroad display operated by volunteers. The walk will give you a glimpse into Oconomowoc's past when it was known as the "Newport of the West". You will pass the palatial summer homes around Fowler Lake built by the wealthy during the period 1870 to 1930's. On Main Street the many historic buildings are now home to unique boutiques and restaurants. Four parks are featured on the walk with the most interesting being the Veterans Memorial Park honoring soldiers from the War of 1812 to the present day.
Awards & Fees: There will be no pre-registration or award for this walk. Credit Only: $3.00 Youth/Adult Non-Credit: $2.00
Pets: Leashed pets are permitted.
Amenities: Restrooms and water are available at the start point and along the trail.
