Location: Strauble Street, Madison, WI N 43.11809 W 89.33297
Hours: Start 8:00 am to 12 noon. Finish by 3:00 pm.
Distance: 10K and 5K
Rating: 1A This walk will be accessible by strollers but not by wheelchairs.
Special Programs: Bridges, City Parks, Points of Reference, Trekking with the Trees, Water Fountains, Walking the USA A-Z, and Wisconsin Counties
Directions: From I-39/90/94 north of Madison, take Hwy 151 west for about 2 miles, crossing Hwy 51. Turn right on Wright, then left on Straubel. The parking lot will be on the right side of Straubel.
Parking: Ample parking is available.
Description: The walk will follow the Starkweather Creek Path through woods, beside the Bridges Golf Course, passing over Hwy 30 & Hwy 151 on pedestrian bridges, and through portions of the Madison Area Technical College.
Awards & Fees: There will be no pre-registration or award for this walk. Credit only: $3.00 Youth/Adult Non-Credit: $2.00
Pets: Leashed pets will be permitted on this walk.
Amenities: Restrooms and water will be available along the walk, but not at the start point.
